Safari is a word that means ?journey? in the Swahili language and perhaps for many a safari holiday is their journey of a lifetime. There are many different types of safari holiday on offer in Africa and choosing one will be down to your own personal taste and what you most want to see on your journey.
Located on the border of Tanzania, The Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya is the ultimate safari destination for those who want a traditional safari holiday. The reserve is also famous for its ?big cats? with many television documentaries being filmed here recording the in their natural habitat. The Great Migration occurs at the Masai Mara Reserve every year when the wildebeest, gazelles and zebras from the Serengeti migrate to the area. You can also expect to see elephants, buffalos, rhinos and hyenas along with the big cats ? cheetahs, leopards and lions. The Mara River runs through the reserve and this is home to lurking hippos and crocodiles.
The Zambezi Valley in the Zambia is a new and upcoming area for safari holidays so it is perhaps not the best place to choose if you are after a more traditional safari experience. For intrepid explorers and those who like their wildlife wild with a capital W then this may be the place. The area is vast with the Zambezi River running, through filled with crocs and hippos. Only a few tour operators are working in this area so you can expect a remote but comfortable stay on this safari holiday. This area also offer specialist safaris for example bird safaris which enable you to see some of Africa?s amazing birdlife or fish safaris that take place by boat or canoe.
Serengeti is the Maasai word for ?endless plains? and when you arrive here it is easy to understand why the area was named so. The enormous Serengeti National Park in Tanzania is so vast that it is divided into three areas. This is a great place to book a traditional safari holiday as you can expect to see all of the ?Big Five ? animals here ? lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffalos ? and a whole lot more as well.
The longest established and largest game reserve in Africa is The Kruger National Park in South Africa. Set on the border of Zimbabwe and Mozambique this is perhaps the ultimate place for a traditional safari holiday because the area is home to more types of animal than any other reserve in Africa. You can expect to see all kinds of animal here including the ?Big Five? - elephants, rhinos, buffalos, leopards and lions.

Ways To Save Money On Your Next Holiday Booking
Posted by SEO SERVICES in Travel on October 25th, 2010
Everyone’s after a bargain these days and holidays certainly don’t come cheap. However, if you follow our tips you’re sure to save time and money on your holiday and have a whale of a time while you’re there. The first thing to consider is the dates of your holiday. Don’t go during school breaks or busy peak periods as popular tourist spots will be busy and expensive. If you’re able to take a holiday outside of peak times, do so.
There are massive savings to be had even while you’re 30,000 feet above the ground. By ditching your premium airline and flying with a low-cost, budget or economy airline you can make huge savings on the cost of your holiday. Paying a couple of hundred dollars extra for a bad meal and a movie seems a bit extravagant, don’t you think? Ditch the unnecessary cost and save money by flying with an economy airline and splash your extra cash once you’ve actually arrived on holiday!
Specialized flight scraper websites can compare the costs of flights from many different flight brokers and agents all on one screen, allowing you to make even more savings on your flight without compromising on anything at all ? only who you book through. By comparing the deals available to you, you could make big savings on exactly the same flight just by booking through a different agent or broker! Don’t settle for the first price they give you ? try to get the best deal possible.
The savings don’t stop with the flights. Once you’ve chosen your accommodation, use another scraper ? this time, a hotel scraper to find the best possible prices and deals for the hotel in which you want to stay. You can compare the prices from many different brokers and agents and find the best possible deal for the period of your holiday. Why should you pay more than you have to? There are massive savings to be had, so have them!
Last, but by no means least, haggle! Once you’ve got your very best price using the tips above, call up the operators and try and get it even cheaper. We Westerners often don’t like haggling, but you can save even more money with a simple phone call, so why would you not? Haggling is an essential part of business in many areas of the world and the practice could stand you in good stead for when you hit those foreign markets on your new bargain holiday!

When a person gets a resorts 360 (or any other) membership, he/she not only receive an access to a large number of travel discounts but also get travel business opportunity.
If you have an abroad trip, most probably, you would have to use international airlines in order to get there. It?s a well known fact that the level of security on international flights increased dramatically in past few years. These days all luggage goes through a strict security checks. I, personally are quite nervous when it comes the time to leave their baggage. You may know that the real risk of keeping your possessions safe when is when the luggage leave the care of the airline. Now we are going to give you some recommendations on how to keep your belongings safe when traveling abroad.
Those vacationers who have ever lost there lug luggage on an international flight do remember how sad it may be to find him/herself in an unknown country without the most important belongings.
The first recommendation that I can give you is to keep the most important of your stuff on you. Actually, when you travel abroad, the most important things you would need in any situation are your passport and credit cards. That is why you need to be very attentive, in order to keep them safe. Don?t forget, you should never put your travel documents in suitcases. It would be good to keep them in some hidden pocket of your closing or in your purse or security-belt bag. If so, than even when you lose your luggage, you still have your documents. Another advice would be to make a certified copies of all your travel documents and leave them with a relative back home.
One more thing you need to do is to get travel insurance. It?s really unwise to travel abroad without travel insurance. You have to keep it in mind that some airlines do not hold responsibility for lost or damaged luggage. That is why it?s unwise and dangerous to travel without travel insurance. Actually, travel insurance is not an expensive thing at all. Its quite inexpensive and if you are to even lose anything, it can make all the difference.
And finally, it is a good idea to mark your luggage and lock it. You may find this idea unsound, still you would have to do it. The cause is that by marking your luggage, you make it easier for airline staff to find your baggage in case it has got lost. It sometimes happens that luggage is tampered with. But if you lock your bag no one will open it.
