Target Audience For Cruise Lines
Posted by SEO SERVICES in Travel on July 28th, 2010
Few cruise lines did a research done in the UK shows that people over the age of 40 like going on luxury cruises than any one else. Looks like that is all of M4 corridor and West Sussex. Just joking :op. This research started two years ago in June, they wanted to see if the audience will change in that period of time. Yes the research did take 2 years but now they know and understand their market and their target audience.
80% of the audience had been people who were aged 40 and over in last two years. Remaining 20% were children and people under 40. You will shocked with this, from the 20% only 0.25% were people between the age of 20 to 30, crazy isn’t it. Between 20 and 30 people are generally looking to work and some are still in University. This is time for all of us to make something of our life, this is the time when we decide where working field or what we want from our lives. After University most of us are on debt from student accounts and also student loans that we borrow.
People over 40 have already either paid their debt or they are doing well in their life. As you get more experience you tend to get job offers with more money, then you can save for luxury cruises. It was quite good to see the research done by msc cruises and windstar cruises in finding out who their target audiences were.
People working in a cruising industry (like me) will be quite happy with this information. Now I know who to recommend luxury cruises and who to recommend short trips. Hope this post was useful for you too.

Do you ever fancy a complete break from the daily grind?
For a weekend or for a full year most people agree that to getaway is marvellous.
The problem with a lot of holiday trips is that resorts or theme parks are so predictable.
While we all go that route at first when the kids are little, it doesn?t take long even for the kids to see that these manufactured adventures are just that, pretend adventures. We soon realise that it’s far more exciting to get out there and have a real adventure and come home from holiday with a memory that will last a lifetime.
This is why yachting has become such a popular approach to enjoying some time off with the family or alone with an exotic vacation, where the variety of things to do is virtually endless. The yachting industry has come a long way to make the experience available not only to the wealthy but also to people who are not looking for the most luxurious vacation ever as well. Because you can pick the level of service you want or need, you can opt to have an entire crew on board your yacht catering to your every need or scale down the size of your service personnel to just a captain or even to skipper the yacht yourself.
The great thing about yachting is the freedom to go where you will. You can drop in at exciting vacation spots around the world quite easily or sail to remote island beaches that hardly anyone visits.. There is no experience as breath taking as sitting with your loved ones and seeing the sun go down over the horizon at sea with no land in sight north, south, east or west.
This is the kind of change of pace that can take you out of the humdrum of daily life and really make you reflect on your life and what is important to you. And that is always a healthy outcome of any holiday.
The choice of destinations for a yachting holiday is vast and diverse because the planet is mostly water. Whether you have bought or hired your yacht the aim should be to get out there and enjoy it with USA sailing break.
The biggest problem you might have when planning your yachting vacation is picking what area of the world to enjoy.
Whether your yachting takes you to the Caribbean, North Americas, Greece, Turkey, the south of France, Bulgaria or the south China sea, each location offers you exotic cultures to explore and new food sensations to savour. Each night you could sleep in a different place and wake to new shorelines. You could have a quest to list your “top ten best beaches in the world”. Then next time the search will be even more intense for where to go or where to go back.
Of course, one other option to simply ?disappear at sea?. While you would not literally get lost, you could get away from it all by staying out at sea for a prolonged time. The gentle movement of the waves will create an entirely new outlook for you and sooth you like nothing on land can do. You might think you would get bored but if you have ample provisions, simple activities like fishing, taking a swim in the sea with the dolphins or just watching the birds dive for their suppers can be wonderfully entertaining and give you hours of time to reflect and recuperate from a busy life at home.
This kind of relaxation is only possible with a complete break that a yacht can provide. Once you enjoy the deep relaxing and complete freedom experience that being at sea with brings, you will get hooked and be planning another yachting holiday next year and for many years to come.
The alternative if you love the sea is to take Mini Cruise Breaks.
