Holidays : Perfect Destinations In Portugal
Posted by SEO SERVICES in Travel on May 22nd, 2011
If you are looking for a fantastic European holiday destination, then you should definitely give Portugal a go. We look at some of Portugal?s best holiday destinations to give you a flavor for the place. One brilliant location is the Azores. These are a group of islands in the Atlantic Ocean. While not part of the Portuguese mainland, they are very popular with tourists as they have great facilities and a lovely all year round climate, coupled with breathtaking scenery, such as volcanic features and stunning lagoons.
The Algarve is one of the most popular places for tourists to visit. It is situated in the south of Portugal and is separated from the rest of the country by a group of mountains. This makes the climate of the Algarve hot and dry and it?s very popular with tourists, particularly from the UK and Germany. There are lots of hotels in the region, meaning that tourists have plenty of choice and popular locations include Lagos and Albufeira. There is also over 150km of gorgeous coastline.
You could also visit Lisbon, which is the westernmost city in Europe as well as the capital city of Portugal. It features brilliant inns, nightlife, mosaics and museums and is a great place for sitting on a terrace ? of which there are many ? with coffee and some good food. The city has both old and new quarters, which make for a great city experience. Cable cars are popular for transport as the streets are so steep, particularly in the older parts of the city.
We also think the Madeira Islands are a great Portugal holiday destination. Like the Azores, the Madeira Islands aren?t part of the mainland and instead form an archipelago 700 miles southwest of Portugal. There is great scenery, including breathtaking mountains along with a mild year-round climate, which is very appealing to the tourists that visit. The islands also offer fantastic facilities and they are home to the famous Madeira wine as well as a thriving agricultural industry, which is well worth exploring on your visit.
Our last Portuguese holiday destination suggestion is Porto, which is also known as the Granite City. This is because so many of its buildings are made out of granite and iron, including some historic churches. Some of Portugal?s best wine is made in the region, which is in the north of the country. Porto is the country?s second largest city and also a European Capital of Culture. It combines old, winding streets with new roads to create a lovely, cosmopolitan experience that all travelers are sure to find appealing.

Target Audience For Cruise Lines
Posted by SEO SERVICES in Travel on July 28th, 2010
Few cruise lines did a research done in the UK shows that people over the age of 40 like going on luxury cruises than any one else. Looks like that is all of M4 corridor and West Sussex. Just joking :op. This research started two years ago in June, they wanted to see if the audience will change in that period of time. Yes the research did take 2 years but now they know and understand their market and their target audience.
80% of the audience had been people who were aged 40 and over in last two years. Remaining 20% were children and people under 40. You will shocked with this, from the 20% only 0.25% were people between the age of 20 to 30, crazy isn’t it. Between 20 and 30 people are generally looking to work and some are still in University. This is time for all of us to make something of our life, this is the time when we decide where working field or what we want from our lives. After University most of us are on debt from student accounts and also student loans that we borrow.
People over 40 have already either paid their debt or they are doing well in their life. As you get more experience you tend to get job offers with more money, then you can save for luxury cruises. It was quite good to see the research done by msc cruises and windstar cruises in finding out who their target audiences were.
People working in a cruising industry (like me) will be quite happy with this information. Now I know who to recommend luxury cruises and who to recommend short trips. Hope this post was useful for you too.
A Nile River Cruise To Remember
Posted by SEO SERVICES in Travel on July 21st, 2010
I’ve been lucky enough to travel in many different continents and countries throughout my life. Having experienced great moments of awe and admiration towards the nature’s miracles. From the mighty Iguacu Waterfalls in the borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguy to the breath taking site of Machu Pichu and from the solitude of Sahara to the deep blue of the Aegean Sea my eyes have seen so much and my senses have experienced even more.
What Kind Of People Go On Oceania Cruises?

Being working on cruise boats for several years as a photographer gave me the chance to meet many different people. Something that not many people seem to understand is that living in a boat is very different to living in a flat or a house and it has a big impact on people’s social behaviour. New friendships can be developed, new love stories can take place, couples can divorce, babies may be conceived or even born and some may even pass away!
